Washington Square Films Director Andrew Lane recently teamed up with FCB New York to launch a timely and thought-provoking holiday campaign for Lincoln Financial, titled, “The (Un)spoken Plan.” The hidden camera social experiment was set up in a New York restaurant, challenging real-life families to have tough financial conversations at the dinner table. The spot captures the real-time reactions and ensuing conversations as families read from a menu of financial questions. Lane’s work has earned him widespread industry acclaim, including several Cannes Lions, Clios and D&AD Awards for his Diesel “Go with the Fake” ad, which also integrated a hidden camera in a pop-up store in order to tackle counterfeit culture. His powerful “Guns with History” PSA with Grey New York also earned numerous awards at Cannes Lions, D&AD and the One Show.
